Hot chocolate is an all-time favorite, especially during the cold winter months. Although traditional hot chocolate is always delicious, try this version if you’re looking for a new taste!
- 1 cup milk (whole, skim, or soy)
- 1/2 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cinammon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-2 tablespoons sugar
In a small saucepan, on medium-low heat, pour in the milk, cocoa powder, chili powder, cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar.
Whisk until the hot chocolate is nice and frothy, about 1 minute. Top with whipped cream or marshmallows, and enjoy!
