I love fresh strawberries. I love making things with fresh strawberries. During the summer, we go to a local farm or market every week, and my favorite part is bringing home fresh strawberries. In honor of my favorite fruit, I have decided to name June the month of strawberries! My Strawberry-Rhubarb Frozen Yogurt was the first Strawberry Month recipe, and this is the second.
With temperatures already reaching the 90s, I would say summer has arrived early this year! This cold, refreshing non-alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri is the perfect drink on a hot day. Its sweet strawberry taste will make you smile, regardless of how hot it is outside!
Ingredients:
- 4 cups ice
- 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen limeade concentrate
- 1 cup cold water
Instructions:
Using a blender, crush the 4 cups of ice.
Add in the strawberries, limeade concentrate, and water. Blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass, and drink until you no longer remember how hot it is outside.
Enjoy, and stay cool!
Makes 6-8 servings.
