Hello, friends!
As I’m sure many of you have seen in the news, there is a crisis going on right now in Africa. Children are dying by the thousands. In the past few months alone, over 13 million people have been affected and approximately 2 million children could die from starvation in the Horn of Africa in the months to come. More than thirty thousand children have already died because they don’t have enough food. That’s just unacceptable.
But, the good news is, we can help. We can act together and help save lives. I’m not asking anyone to donate hundreds of dollars (if you want to, go right ahead, though!). I’m asking for whatever you can spare: $1, $5, $10, whatever you can give, I promise you it will make a difference.
My fellow bloggers and I have joined together to support several on-the-ground projects in East Africa through the well-known charity group, Global Giving. And, as always, you can donate to my favorite charities, ADRA and the World Food Programme. We hope you will join us in saving lives!
Thank you for your prayers and donations, and for spreading the word about our fundraiser. You will be rewarded!

This is an awesome initiative. I love that you’re using your talents and resources to support famine victims in East Africa. It is so important that we all continue to tell the story however we can! THANK YOU!
Thank you so much! We are doing all we can to help 🙂
