Cookie Bakers Needed!

Cookies: who doesn’t love ’em?  Chocolate chip, sugar, peanut butter, jam-filled, chocolate-filled, cookies just make you feel good!  This holiday season, you can help raise money for pediatric cancer research just by baking some cookies!

La Casa de Sweets and Cookies for Kids with Cancer are joining forces to raise money to find a cure for pediatric cancer.  The best part is, you can help!  Here’s how:

Host a Cookie Swap!  What’s a cookie swap?  It’s a party where you and your friends exchange cookies!  Here’s what you do:

    • Bake some cookies.
    • Invite your family, friends, co-workers, church members, neighbors, school friends over, and ask them to bring some cookies.
    • Eat the cookies, and have fun!

Yup, it’s that easy.  Wait, how will this help raise money, you ask?  Here’s how:

Glad will donate $1 for every single cookie at your party, now through December 31st.

A few dozen cookies at your party will go a long way, thanks to Glad.  The more cookie swaps we can get to join our group, the more money we’ll raise!

To recap: swap cookies with your friends at home, church, work, or your kid’s school, and every cookie you make (and eat!) will raise money for kids with cancer.  All you have to do is email me the total number of cookies from your party.  No forms to fill out, or checks to write, or asking people for money, just an email.

If you have questions along the way, or need help, I’m the gal to ask.  Plus, in the next few weeks, I’ll be posting a how-to on cookie swaps, and a few recipes to give you a head start.

If you’re interested in joining us, or if you have any questions, please contact me here.

Together, we can help fight pediatric cancer, one cookie at a time!

Love this idea! I’m baking a special cookie this month to benefit a child of my husband’s coworker but love that you’re helping organize this so anyone can give to help fight childhood cancer! <3
